Back Into the Ocean

I didn’t think I’d be jumping back into the ocean so quickly. It seems I just wrote about a deep dive a couple weeks ago when I came upon TomBeingTom and his blog called…well Tom Being Tom. Tom actually did a wonderful job explaining the deep dive in his post called The Words of the Wulf, so I would recommend heading there if you are curious. Today I finally finished my journey and caught up to the present. Again…do yourself a favor and read his blog.

Now, as I said in a previous deep dive, I often find these gems as followers of someone I am following. It happened again. There, in a post of Tom’s, I saw this name that I recognized from recently liking one of my poems. I decided to go and look. There has been one other time that I had this strong of an immediate reaction. And I gushed about it. Her name is Gwen and her site is Kintsukoroi Life. Well it happened again. I was completely blown away FloweringInk and her blog Stories from the Edge of Blindness. I am not going to go into the details. What I am going to tell you is this woman’s writing will seize you from the moment you read her, and will NOT let you go. Her words will transport you into her story, and you will feel what she is feeling. I have a long way to go to finish, but I couldn’t wait to share her with you. Please please please go to her site. You will be changed. I know I was.

  1. I really am sitting here with tears streaming down my cheeks. I am at a loss for words. I am sure I will find more later, but for now, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have given me a true gift, not just in the hugely complimentary things you have said about my writing any my story, but by giving me an opportunity to see through new eyes. I am seeing my story in a new way, but I also get to have the amazing experience of getting to know you through your words as I commence on my own deep dive through your blog. Today has been an amazing and unexpected day because of you and your generosity.
