Hope on the Horizon

The sadness of a song-less sleep

The solitude of a soulless slumber

All those weights and shadows pressing

Are cast aside in the sunrise of your smile

To you and for you who’s wish to hold at bay and fight that darkness

  1. I adore the title because there IS hope on the horizon, and it came to you in a majestic way!
I hear the pain, and I hear the hope; may you feel the sunshine on your face and may you breathe life! 😘

    1. Try imaging this place in freaking September when hurricanes are coming, and when it’s 98 with 105% humidity. Yes, I said it right. More moisture than the air can hold so it is always dripping. I say welcome to the Gulf south. Take a shower in April and dry off in October.
